Walking
If you are starting from Santa Monica Pier, head east on the pier and follow the path that leads to Ocean Avenue. Once you reach Ocean Avenue, turn right and walk north along the sidewalk. Continue for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes). You will see Palisades Park on your left, just before you reach the intersection with Montana Avenue. The park runs along the cliffside and offers beautiful ocean views.

If you are near the Third Street Promenade, walk to the nearest Big Blue Bus stop located at 3rd St & Santa Monica Blvd. Take Line 2 or Line 9 and get off at the stop for Ocean Ave & Montana Ave. From there, walk south on Ocean Avenue for about 5 minutes. Palisades Park will be on your right side.
