From the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1), turn inland onto Sunset Boulevard. Continue on Sunset Boulevard until you reach Latimer Road. Turn onto Latimer Road and follow it to the Old Santa Monica Forestry Station. Parking is available near the Rustic Canyon Recreation Center. Parking can be limited, especially on weekends.

From the Santa Monica Civic Center, take the Metro Bus Line 5 heading north. Get off at the Pacific Coast Highway & Sunset Boulevard stop. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles east on Sunset Boulevard to Latimer Road. Turn right onto Latimer Road, and the Old Santa Monica Forestry Station will be on your left. A single ride on the Metro Bus is $1.75.
