From the main area of Mammoth Lakes, head southeast on Main Street towards Old Mammoth Road. Continue on Old Mammoth Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lake Mary Road. Turn left onto Lake Mary Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles. Look for signs indicating Brees Lookout; the road will lead you to the lookout. Parking is available at the site. Note that the final portion of the road leading to the lookout may be a bit rough, but passable for most vehicles. Parking is free.
