Shuttle Bus

The most common way to reach Minaret Falls Campground is via the mandatory Reds Meadow Shuttle, which operates from approximately mid-June to early September. Purchase shuttle tickets at the Adventure Center; adult tickets are $15, and children aged 3-15 are $7. The shuttle drops you off within Reds Meadow Valley, from where you can walk to the campground. The walk to Minaret Falls Campground from the nearest shuttle stop (typically Reds Meadow Resort) is approximately 0.1-0.2 miles. Outside of the shuttle operating hours (before 7:00 am or after 7:00 pm during the summer season, or when the shuttle is not running), you can drive directly to Reds Meadow Valley. From Mammoth Lakes, follow CA-203 west towards Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. Continue past the ski area to Minaret Vista. From Minaret Vista, continue along the narrow, winding Reds Meadow Road into the valley. Follow the signs to Minaret Falls Campground. A $10 fee is required upon entry/exit at the Minaret Vista Station. Be aware that the road is narrow and can be challenging for large RVs or trailers. Parking at the campground is limited.
