    From Chinatown, head west on 9th Street towards Broadway. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles (about 10-15 minutes on foot). You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach Broadway, turn left and walk south until you reach 12th Street. Then turn right onto 12th Street. After a short walk, look for the entrance to the Oakland Museum of California on your left at 1000 Oak St.

    From Chinatown, walk to the nearest bus stop at 8th St & Franklin St. Board AC Transit Bus 12 (direction: 12th St BART) and stay on for 3 stops. Get off at 12th St & Oak St. The museum will be directly in front of you at 1000 Oak St. The bus fare is $2.50, and you can pay with cash or a Clipper card.
