Getting There

Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Broadway & 5th Street in Sonoma. From there, walk north on Broadway for about 0.3 miles (approximately 7 minutes) until you reach the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art located at 551 Broadway, Sonoma, CA 95476.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle in Petaluma, head southwest on 4th Street towards Petaluma Boulevard South. Follow Petaluma Boulevard South until you reach the intersection with Highway 12. Turn left onto Highway 12 and continue heading towards Sonoma. After about 8 miles, you will arrive in Sonoma. Continue on Highway 12, which will turn into Broadway. The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art will be on your left at 551 Broadway.

  If you find yourself in downtown Petaluma and are up for a long walk, head towards the Petaluma River and follow the river trail. Walk along the river until you reach D Street, then take a right onto D Street and continue until you reach Petaluma Boulevard South. From there, follow the earlier mentioned route to catch the bus or bike if you get tired.
