Venteux Vineyards, pronounced "Vin 2," is a ten-acre estate winery located in the windy Templeton Gap of Paso Robles. The name 'Venteux' itself is inspired by the windy conditions of the Templeton Gap, a microclimate known for hot, dry days and cool, damp nights ideal for dry-farmed, head-trained vines. This unique climate contributes to the intensely bold and flavorful Rhône varietals that Venteux specializes in. Founded in 2003, Venteux Vineyards is a joint venture between the Stelzle and Goldenberg families. Winemaker Scott Stelzle and his wife Bobbi initially released their first vintage in 2006. Venteux believes that natural farming and winemaking techniques are the best way to showcase their unique land and location. Their hands-on approach allows them to uphold the highest level of care in all aspects of the winemaking process, from soil to bottle.
