Zenaida Cellars: A Paso Robles Gem
Discover handcrafted wines at Zenaida Cellars in Paso Robles, where sustainable practices meet a century-old winemaking tradition.
Zenaida Cellars, located in the Templeton Gap area of Paso Robles, is a family-owned winery that offers a unique and intimate wine tasting experience. The winery's history dates back over 100 years, with the original homestead now serving as the tasting room. In May 2000, the Zenaida Cellars Tasting Room officially opened. In July 2022, the winery was taken over by local owners, Robert Lotierzo and Anthony Versochi. The 30-acre property features 22 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards. Zenaida Cellars specializes in small-lot, handcrafted wines made from the estate vineyard. Visitors can savor a diverse selection of wines, including Zinfandel, Syrah, and unique red blends, in the cozy tasting room or on the partially shaded patio. Tastings are $30 per flight, which is waived with a two-bottle purchase. For larger groups of 8 or more, there is an automatic gratuity of $10 per person. Zenaida Cellars is more than just a winery; it's a place where stories are shared and memories are created. The knowledgeable staff guides visitors through the tasting experience, ensuring they find the perfect blend. The winery also hosts special events, live music, and seasonal festivities throughout the year.
