Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Mission Beach, take the MTS bus Route 8 towards 'Mission Beach'. Get off at the stop closest to Mission Blvd and Gleason Rd. From there, it's a short walk to Ventura Cove Park. A single ride on the MTS bus costs $2.50.

  • Walking

    From central Pacific Beach, head towards Mission Boulevard and walk south. Continue until you reach the intersection with Garnet Avenue. Continue straight, and you'll pass various shops and cafes along the way. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the edge of Mission Bay. From here, turn left onto the boardwalk and follow it along the waterfront until you see Ventura Cove Park on your right side.

  • Driving

    From Interstate 8, take the Sports Arena Boulevard exit. Head towards Mission Beach. From Pacific Beach, take Mission Blvd south until you reach the junction with Gleason Rd. Turn left onto Gleason Rd, and you will find Ventura Cove Park at 3209 Gleason Rd. Parking is free in the large lot right in front of the park. If that lot is full, there are other parking lots off of Mariner's Way.
