Walking
If you are in the heart of Mission Beach, simply head towards the ocean. Locate the Ocean Front Walk, which is a paved boardwalk running parallel to the beach. Walk north along the Ocean Front Walk, keeping the beach on your right. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, and you will reach Muscle Beach located at 3000 Ocean Front Walk. Look for the outdoor gym equipment and the iconic sign indicating Muscle Beach.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Mission Beach. After renting your bike, head towards the Ocean Front Walk. Ride north along the boardwalk, which is bike-friendly. It will take around 5-10 minutes to reach Muscle Beach. Keep an eye out for the outdoor gym area at 3000 Ocean Front Walk.

Public Transportation
If you are farther away in Mission Beach, you can take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus. Look for the bus stops that service the area, such as the 8 or 9 routes. Board the bus heading towards the beach. Get off at the stop closest to 3000 Ocean Front Walk. From there, it's just a short walk to Muscle Beach. Be aware that a one-way fare on MTS buses costs about $2.50.
