    If you're in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, head towards the waterfront along the Embarcadero. Walk south along the Embarcadero, keeping the waterfront on your left. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach Pier 39, which is famous for its sea lion population. The sea lions can be found lounging on the docks, just beyond the shops and restaurants.

    Another option is to take the Powell-Hyde cable car from the Powell Street terminal. Board the cable car and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the stop closest to the Embarcadero. From there, walk down to the waterfront, and head south along the Embarcadero. This will take approximately 20 minutes in total, including the ride and walk.

    You can also take a Muni bus if you are near a bus stop. Look for the 47 or 49 bus lines that stop near Fisherman's Wharf. Board the bus and ride towards the Embarcadero. Get off at a stop that is close to Pier 39. After disembarking, simply walk towards the waterfront, and you will find the sea lions.
