Start your journey at the San Mateo Caltrain Station located at 2nd Avenue. From the station, take the Caltrain southbound towards San Jose. Disembark at the Hillsdale Station. Once you exit, head to the nearest bus stop and catch SamTrans bus route 250 towards the Coyote Point Recreation Area. The bus will take you directly to the park entrance. From there, it's a short walk to the beach.

If you're up for a bike ride, start at Central Park in San Mateo. Head east on 20th Avenue until you reach B Street. Turn left onto B Street and continue straight until you reach the Bay Trail.
