Walking
If you are at the Santa Barbara Waterfront, head towards the ocean until you reach the beach promenade. From there, walk west along the beachfront until you reach the intersection with Harbor Way. Turn left onto Harbor Way, and continue straight for about 5 minutes. The Outdoors Santa Barbara Visitor Center will be on your right at 113 Harbor Way.

Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the nearby rental shops along the waterfront. Once you have your bike, ride west along the beach promenade towards the harbor. When you reach the entrance of the harbor, keep going straight until you pass the boat docks. The Outdoors Santa Barbara Visitor Center will be located at 113 Harbor Way on your right-hand side.

Take the MTD bus Route 1, which services the waterfront area. Board the bus at the nearest stop along Cabrillo Blvd. and ride towards the Harbor. Get off at the stop named 'Harbor Way & Sterns Wharf'. From there, walk south towards the harbor entrance. Continue straight along Harbor Way for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Outdoors Santa Barbara Visitor Center at 113 Harbor Way. Please note that the bus fare is approximately $1.75.
