Walking
If you are near the Santa Barbara Waterfront, start at the Stearns Wharf. Head northwest along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the ocean views. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the intersection with E Cabrillo Blvd. Turn left onto E Cabrillo Blvd and walk for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass the Santa Barbara Zoo on your right. When you reach the intersection with Channel Drive, continue straight, and you will arrive at Point Castillo in approximately 15-20 minutes.

Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops near the Santa Barbara Waterfront. Once you have your bike, head toward the bike path along the beach. Cycle northwest along the path until you reach E Cabrillo Blvd. Turn left on E Cabrillo Blvd and continue for about 0.5 miles.
