Public Bus
From the Santa Clarita Transit Center, take the Line 4 bus towards 'Canyon Country'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Palmdale Boulevard & 25th Street East' stop. From there, transfer to the Line 795 bus towards 'Palmdale'. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Moccasin Trail' stop. Walk about 5 minutes down Moccasin Trail to reach the Chilao Visitor Center at 1 Moccasin Trail, Palmdale.

Bicycle
Start at the Santa Clarita Town Center. Head northeast on Valencia Blvd towards Magic Mountain Parkway. Turn right on Magic Mountain Parkway and continue until you reach the intersection with Sierra Highway. Take a left on Sierra Highway and follow it north for about 10 miles. Once you reach Palmdale, turn right onto East Palmdale Blvd, then left onto 25th Street East. Finally, turn left onto Moccasin Trail and you will arrive at the Chilao Visitor Center.

If you are near the Santa Clarita City Hall, you can walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Magic Mountain Parkway & Valencia Blvd'. From there, catch the Line 4 bus towards 'Canyon Country'. After transferring to Line 795 at 'Palmdale Boulevard & 25th Street East', get off at 'Moccasin Trail'. It's about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the Chilao Visitor Center, located at 1 Moccasin Trail, Palmdale.
