Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Santa Clarita Metrolink Station, exit the station and head east on Soledad Canyon Rd. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bouquet Canyon Rd. Turn left onto Bouquet Canyon Rd and walk for another 1.2 miles. You will come to a small park area on your left; the Ridge Route Historical Marker is located just beyond this park, near the intersection with Newhall Ranch Rd. Look for the marker on the right side of the road.

    From the Santa Clarita Metrolink Station, take the Metro Bus Line 3 heading towards the Valencia Industrial Center. Alight at the stop near the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Rd and Newhall Ranch Rd (approximately a 15-minute ride). From the bus stop, walk south on Bouquet Canyon Rd for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the Ridge Route Historical Marker on your left, just past the park.
