Start at the Santa Clarita Transit Center located at 201 W 4th St, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Take the Line 3 bus heading towards the Canyon Country area. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Sierra Hwy and Soledad Canyon Rd. From there, you will need to transfer to Line 4. Wait for the Line 4 bus and board it. This bus will take you closer to the San Francisquito Canyon. After about 20 minutes on Line 4, get off at the stop near the entrance to the canyon.

If you prefer cycling, start from the Santa Clarita Town Center located at 24201 W Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Head east on Valencia Blvd, then turn right onto Magic Mountain Parkway. Follow the path to the intersection with McBean Parkway and continue on to the Newhall Ranch Rd. From there, you will find bicycle lanes leading towards Soledad Canyon Rd. Continue along this route until you reach the entrance of San Francisquito Canyon. The total distance is approximately 12 miles, so ensure you are prepared for a longer ride.

Walking to San Francisquito Canyon is a lengthy trek, but if you're up for it, start from the Santa Clarita Plaza at 24201 W Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Head north on Valencia Blvd towards Magic Mountain Parkway. Continue straight onto Soledad Canyon Rd, then walk for about 6 miles until you reach the entrance of San Francisquito Canyon. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this will take several hours.
