    To reach Topanga State Park from Santa Monica, start by walking to the Santa Monica Transit Center located at 4th St. and Colorado Ave. From there, take the Metro Bus Line 5 towards 'Downtown Los Angeles.' Stay on the bus for about 35-40 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Sunset Blvd & Topanga Canyon Blvd.' After getting off, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 226, which will take you directly to 'Entrada Rd & Topanga State Park' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the park entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Santa Monica. Start your ride by heading north on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Follow the bike lane along PCH for about 7 miles until you reach the junction for Topanga Canyon Blvd. Turn left onto Topanga Canyon Blvd and continue for about 2 miles until you see signs for Topanga State Park. The entrance will be on your right. Make sure to follow all traffic rules and wear a helmet.

    For an adventurous option, consider hiking to Topanga State Park. Start from Santa Monica Pier and head inland towards the Santa Monica mountains. It’s a long walk (about 9 miles) but very scenic. Follow Ocean Ave to San Vicente Blvd, then turn onto Topanga Canyon Blvd. You'll eventually reach the park entrance. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
