Walking
From the center of Tahoe City, head southeast on N Lake Blvd toward Pine Ave. Continue walking along the lakefront path until you reach the intersection with Hwy 89. Turn right onto Hwy 89 and follow the signs for the Tahoe City Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, take the intercity bus to Reno, which is approximately a 1-hour ride. Get off at the bus stop near S Arlington Ave, and from there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Wingfield Park.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local shop in Tahoe City. Start at Commons Beach and follow the bike path along N Lake Blvd toward the Tahoe City Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, take the bike path that leads to Hwy 89. Continue biking until you reach Reno. Upon arriving in Reno, park your bike at a bike rack near S Arlington Ave. Wingfield Park will be a short distance away from where you park.

Public Transportation
From Tahoe City, walk to the Tahoe City Transit Center located at 700 N Lake Blvd. Here, you can catch the regional bus service that goes to Reno. Board the bus that is headed to Reno, and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately an hour, disembark at the stop closest to S Arlington Ave. Wingfield Park is just a few minutes' walk from there. Follow S Arlington Ave south, and you will see the park on your right.
