Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Tahoe City, head east on North Lake Boulevard (CA-28) towards the intersection at Lake Tahoe. Continue walking along North Lake Boulevard for 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Burton Creek State Park on your left. Look for the park signage and the entrance path.

  • Biking

    If you have a bike, start from the Tahoe City Commons Beach area. Ride east along North Lake Boulevard (CA-28) for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Burton Creek State Park on your left. There are bike racks available for parking your bike.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus from any stop in Tahoe City that services Route 21. Get off at the stop near North Lake Boulevard and Park Avenue. From there, walk approximately 0.3 miles east along North Lake Boulevard. You will find the entrance to Burton Creek State Park on your left.
