Take the bus towards Hayward and get off at the Hayward BART Station. From there, transfer to the Caltrain service heading south towards San Jose. Disembark at the Redwood City Station. Once you arrive, walk to the bus stop located at the station and take SamTrans bus 274 towards the 'Redwood City/10 Old Stage Coach Rd'. Get off at the stop near Old Stage Coach Rd and walk about 0.5 miles to reach the entrance of Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Union City. Begin your ride at the Union City BART Station. Head south on Decoto Road, then turn left onto Alvarado-Niles Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mission Boulevard. Take a right on Mission Boulevard and follow it until you reach the intersection with Whipple Avenue, where you will turn left. Continue on Whipple Avenue, which will lead you towards Edgewood Park. This route is approximately 12 miles and will take about an hour depending on your biking speed.

    For those who prefer to walk, start from the Union City BART Station. Walk to the nearest bus stop and take the AC Transit bus line 99 to Hayward BART Station. From Hayward, you can catch the Caltrain to Redwood City. After arriving at Redwood City Station, you can walk to Edgewood Park by going southwest on Broadway Street, then turning left onto Old Stage Coach Road. It's a scenic but long walk of about 4 miles, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and plenty of water.
