From the Union City BART station, take the AC Transit Bus Line 97 towards Union City. Get off at the Smith Street & Decoto Road stop. From there, walk south on Smith Street for about 0.2 miles. The Union City Historical Museum will be on your right at 3841 Smith St. A single ride on AC Transit costs $2.50.

If starting from the Union City BART station, exit the station and head east on Decoto Road. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Smith Street. Turn left onto Smith Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. The Union City Historical Museum will be on your left at 3841 Smith St.

The Union City Historical Museum is located at 3841 Smith St, Union City, CA 94587. Limited street parking is available near the museum. Metered parking is available on 11th Street (south of Decoto Road), Cheeves Way, and Union Square for $1.00 per hour, with a maximum of 4 hours. Pay-by-phone parking is also available on 12th Street, J Street, the J Street Lot, Meyers Drive, and Alvarado-Niles Road for a $6 flat rate per day, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
