From Fillmore Street, head west towards Alta Plaza Park. If you're coming from the south near Geary Boulevard, walk north on Fillmore Street until you reach Clay Street, then turn left and walk two blocks to Pierce Street. The grand staircase entrance to Alta Plaza Park will be directly in front of you. Alternatively, from the north, walk south on Fillmore Street until you reach Jackson Street, then turn right and walk to Steiner Street. The park will be on your left.

The nearest bus stops are California Street & Pierce Street, and Jackson Street & Scott Street.
