  • BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

    Start at the Walnut Creek BART station located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd. Purchase a ticket to the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. Board a train heading towards San Francisco and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the waterfront and head northwest on Market St. Turn left onto Drumm St and continue walking until you reach Washington St. Sue Bierman Park will be on your right, at the corner of Washington St and Drumm St.

    From Walnut Creek, head to the nearest bus stop for the County Connection bus service. Take the bus 4 or 5 towards the Pleasant Hill BART station. Once you reach Pleasant Hill BART, switch to the BART system. Purchase your ticket to Embarcadero station and board a train headed to San Francisco. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Embarcadero. Exit towards the waterfront and proceed to Drumm St. Walk north until you reach the intersection of Washington St and Drumm St, where you will find Sue Bierman Park.

    If you are already in Walnut Creek, and feel up for a long adventure, you can walk to the Walnut Creek BART station at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd, then take BART to Embarcadero station in San Francisco.
