Driving
To reach Cathedral Rocks, navigate to Yosemite Valley via Highway 140, 120, or 41. Once in Yosemite Valley, follow Southside Drive and look for turnouts offering views of El Capitan. Cathedral Rocks will be visible on the opposite side of the valley. Note that a peak-hours reservation may be required to enter the park between 6 am and 2 pm during certain times of the year. The entrance fee to Yosemite National Park is $35 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. Parking is available at designated areas along Southside Drive. Limited parking may be available, especially during peak season.

Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS) provides bus service to Yosemite Valley from several gateway communities, including Yosemite Valley, Mammoth Lakes, June Lake, and Lee Vining. From the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, you can take the free park shuttle to various viewpoints offering views of Cathedral Rocks. A day use entry reservation is not needed if you take public transportation. YARTS fares vary depending on the origin and destination.
