Driving
From Sra'em, the closest town, take Route 2625 north towards Prasat Preah Vihear. At the base of the mountain, you'll find the ticket office where you must purchase your entry ticket for US$10. You will also need to arrange transport up the steep mountain road. A return trip by moto-taxi costs around US$5, while hiring a 4WD pickup truck (seats up to six) is about US$25. The final 1.5km is very steep, so consider this when choosing your transport. After reaching the parking area at the top, walk a short distance to Gopura V and proceed through the temple complex to Gopura 3.
