Getting There

• Car

  From Siem Reap city center, head south on National Route 6. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the junction for National Road 66. Turn left onto Road 66 and continue for another 20 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Phnom Kulen National Park. The park entrance is well-marked, and there is a small fee, typically around $20 for foreigners. After paying, continue driving approximately 10 kilometers into the park to reach the main attractions.

• Tuk-Tuk

  Hail a tuk-tuk in Siem Reap and negotiate a fare to Phnom Kulen National Park. Expect the ride to cost between $15 and $25, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Make sure to agree on whether the fee includes waiting time while you explore the park, as you may wish to spend several hours there.

• Public Bus

  Take a public bus from Siem Reap to the nearest town, which is around 40 kilometers away. The bus station in Siem Reap is located near the Old Market. Look for buses heading to Kompong Thom, as they often stop near the entrance of Phnom Kulen National Park. The bus fare is typically around $5. From the bus stop, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or moto taxi to reach the park entrance, which should cost around $5 to $10.

• Motorbike Rental

  Rent a motorbike in Siem Reap for about $5 to $10 per day. Follow the same route as by car: head south on National Route 6, turn left onto Road 66, and follow the signs to the park. Ensure you have a valid license and wear a helmet at all times. The ride should take around 1 hour but be cautious of local traffic and road conditions.
