If you're driving from the Haliburton Highlands area, start on Highway 118 and head north towards Minden. Continue on Highway 118 until you reach the intersection with Highway 35. Turn left onto Highway 35 South. Follow Highway 35 for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Bethel Road. Turn right onto Bethel Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. The Whitewater Ontario / Minden Whitewater Preserve Members Only Campground and Park will be on your left side at 1020 Bethel Rd, Minden, ON K0M 2K0.

For those using public transportation, you can take the bus service from Haliburton to Minden. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. Once you arrive in Minden, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the campground, as public transportation may not directly service Bethel Road. The distance from Minden's center to the campground is approximately 6 kilometers, so a taxi could cost around CAD 15-20.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike to the campground, you can use the same route as when driving. Starting from Haliburton, take Highway 118 to Highway 35 South, then turn onto Bethel Road. The total distance is about 12 kilometers from Haliburton to the campground. Be sure to wear a helmet and stay safe on the road!

Walking to the campground from Haliburton is not practical due to the distance (approximately 12 kilometers). However, if you are already in Minden, you can walk from the town center to the campground via Highway 35 and Bethel Road. It will take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you’re equipped with proper walking shoes and stay hydrated.
