Getting There

  • Walking

    From North End Halifax, head south on Agricola Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Cogswell Road. Turn left onto Cogswell Road and proceed until you reach the intersection with Sackville Street. Turn right onto Sackville Street. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, and you will see the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site on your left at 5425 Sackville St.

    If you prefer to take public transit, head to the nearest bus stop on Gottingen Street. Look for Halifax Transit bus number 1 (Dartmouth) or 7 (Clayton Park).
