From Quinpool Road, head southeast on Quinpool Road towards the intersection with Robie Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sackville Street. At this point, you can either turn left onto Sackville Street or continue straight to reach the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. The Citadel is located at 5425 Sackville St, approximately a 15-20 minute walk from Quinpool Road, depending on your starting point.

You can take Halifax Transit bus route 1, 7, or 9 from any bus stop along Quinpool Road. Board the bus heading towards downtown Halifax. You should disembark at the 'Dartmouth Rd & Sackville St' stop. From there, walk a short distance east along Sackville Street, and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site will be on your left at 5425 Sackville St. The bus fare is approximately CAD 3.50 for a single ride.
