Walking
From Spring Garden Road, head towards the intersection with South Park Street. Turn left onto South Park Street and continue walking until you reach Sackville Street. At Sackville Street, turn right. The Halifax Citadel National Historic Site will be on your left at 5425 Sackville St. The walk is approximately 15 minutes and is mostly flat.

Public Transit (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transit, you can catch the Metro Transit bus from Spring Garden Road. Look for Bus 1 or Bus 7, which travels towards the Downtown area. Stay on the bus for 2 stops and get off at the 'Sackville St. and South Park St.' stop. From there, walk a short distance back towards Sackville Street, and you will see the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. The bus fare is approximately CAD 3.50.
