Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from any location in Montérégie, take the Autoroute 20 (A20) towards Montreal. Depending on your starting point, merge onto A20 by following the signs. Continue on A20 for approximately 20-30 minutes. As you approach Dorval, take exit 53 for Boulevard Dorval. Merge onto Boulevard Dorval, then turn left onto Chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore. The Museum of History and Heritage Dorval will be on your right at 1850 Chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore. Parking is available on-site.

    For those using public transportation, start by finding your nearest bus station that connects to the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) or the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT). If you are near Longueuil, take the Metro Green Line to Berri-UQAM and transfer to the Orange Line towards Côte-Vertu. Get off at Bonaventure Station. From there, take the 204 or 211 bus towards Dorval. You will need to pay the fare for the bus, which is around CAD 3.50. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Chemin du Bord-du-Lac. Walk a short distance (around 5 minutes) to reach the museum located at 1850 Chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore.
