If you are driving from central Montérégie, take Autoroute 20 (Trans-Canada Highway) heading east. Take exit 65 for Boulevard Saint-Joseph toward Lachine. Follow Boulevard Saint-Joseph until you reach Avenue 1re. Turn left onto Avenue 1re and continue straight until you reach Chem. du Musée. The Lachine Lock will be on your right at Chem. du Musée, Montréal, QC H8S 4H3. Parking is available nearby, but may have a fee depending on time and location.

For those using public transportation, start by taking the bus or metro to the Angrignon Metro Station on the Green Line (Line 1). From Angrignon Metro Station, take the 191 Lachine bus heading towards Lachine. Get off at the stop 'Musée de Lachine'. Walk east on Chem. du Musée for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Lachine Lock. The total fare for the bus is approximately CAD 3.50, and it is recommended to purchase a day pass if you plan to use public transport multiple times.
