From the heart of Griffintown, head east on Notre-Dame Street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, enjoying the local shops and cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with Peel Street. Turn left onto Peel Street.

Continue walking on Peel Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with St. Antoine Street. At this point, you will notice the area becoming busier, and you'll see signs directing you towards Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle.

Turn right onto St. Antoine Street and walk for about 3 minutes. You will see the entrance to Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle on your left at 1000 Pl. Jean-Paul-Riopelle. The park is a beautiful space with various art installations and green areas to enjoy.

Public Transport (Metro)
If you prefer to take public transport, you can walk to the Bonaventure Metro Station, which is about a 15-minute walk from central Griffintown. Once at Bonaventure, take the Green Line towards Angrignon for 2 stops and get off at the McGill station. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle. Exit the station, head east on Sherbrooke Street, and turn left on Peel Street, then follow the previous walking directions.

Alternatively, catch bus number 61 from the nearest bus stop on Notre-Dame Street. Take the bus towards the 'Station de métro Bonaventure' and get off at the stop for St. Antoine Street. From there, it’s a 5-minute walk to Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle by heading north on St. Antoine Street and turning left onto the place.
