Getting There

  If you are starting from the Niagara Falls Canada side, head towards the Rainbow Bridge. Walk along the scenic pathways that border the Niagara River. Once you reach the bridge, cross over to the United States. After crossing, you will find yourself in Niagara Falls, NY. From here, follow the signs towards Niagara Falls State Park. The American Falls are located within the park, which is just a short walk from the entrance.

• Public Transit

  From central Niagara Falls, Canada, take the WEGO bus service, which is a convenient way to travel. Board the 'Green Line' bus that goes towards the U.S. border. The bus will take you to the Rainbow Bridge, where you will get off and cross the bridge on foot to enter the United States. After crossing the bridge, walk towards the Niagara Falls State Park. The American Falls are located within the park premises, easily accessible from the entrance.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) from anywhere in Niagara Falls, Canada. Request a ride to 'Niagara Falls State Park' in the United States. The driver will take you to the border, and you will need to walk across the Rainbow Bridge. Once you enter the park, follow the signs to the American Falls, which are just a short walk away.
