Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Niagara Peninsula, head towards Niagara Falls. Use the QEW highway and follow the signs for Niagara Falls, NY. Once you reach Niagara Falls, park at one of the public parking areas available near the entrance to the Niagara Falls State Park. There may be a parking fee ranging from $10 to $30 depending on the duration of your stay. From the parking area, walk towards the entrance of the park, and follow signs to Goat Island. Once on Goat Island, continue walking until you reach Luna Island, which is located near the edge of the falls.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Niagara Falls Transit bus service. Board the bus from any location within the Niagara Peninsula that connects to the Niagara Falls transit system, and get off at the Niagara Falls State Park stop. The bus fare is generally around $2.00. After disembarking, follow the signs into the park and onto Goat Island. Once on Goat Island, walk towards Luna Island, which is accessible via marked trails.

• Taxi/Ride-Sharing

  For a more direct route, consider using a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply input 'Luna Island, Goat Island Rd, Niagara Falls, NY' as your destination. The fare will vary based on your pick-up location but expect it to be around $20 to $40 from central Niagara Falls. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point accessible by car, and you can then walk to Luna Island.
