Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Parliament Hill area, head east on Wellington Street toward Elgin Street. Continue straight onto Rideau Street. When you reach the intersection with Sussex Drive, turn left onto Sussex Drive. After a few blocks, turn right onto George Street and then another right onto York Street. The Ottawa Sign will be on your left at 6 York St, ByWard Market.

• Public Transit

  From the Rideau Centre, take the OC Transpo bus route 5 towards 'Hurdman'. Get off at the 'ByWard Market' stop, which is near the intersection of George Street and Sussex Drive. Walk east on George Street and then turn left onto York Street. The Ottawa Sign will be on your left at 6 York St.

• Walking from the University of Ottawa

  From the University of Ottawa, exit onto the main street, Laurier Avenue. Walk west until you reach King Edward Avenue, then turn left and head south. Continue until you reach Rideau Street, where you will turn right. Follow Rideau Street until you reach Sussex Drive, where you will turn left. Walk a few blocks and then turn right onto George Street, followed by a right onto York Street. You will find the Ottawa Sign at 6 York St.

• Walking from the ByWard Market

  If you are already in the ByWard Market area, simply find George Street and head towards York Street. Walk along George Street until you see York Street, then turn right. The Ottawa Sign will be prominently displayed at 6 York St, just a short walk from the market.
