Head towards 1 Second Ave. Follow the pathway along the canal until you reach the intersection with Second Ave. Cross the street, and you will find the entrance to the historic site right at 1 Second Ave, Ottawa, ON K1S 2H2.

Public Transit - OC Transpo
You can also take public transit to reach Rideau Canal National Historic Site. Head to the nearest OC Transpo bus stop and board any bus heading towards the 'Rideau Centre' or 'Elgin Street' routes. The fare is approximately CAD $3.75 for a single ride. Get off at the 'Rideau Centre' stop, then walk south towards the canal. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Second Ave, and the site will be on your left at 1 Second Ave.
