Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from any part of Peace River Country, head south on Highway 2 towards the town of Peace River. Continue on Highway 2 until you reach the junction with Highway 43. Take Highway 43 east towards the city of Grande Prairie. From Grande Prairie, merge onto Highway 43 South, then take the exit onto Highway 2 South towards Edmonton. Follow Highway 2 South until you reach the city of Winnipeg. Once in Winnipeg, take the exit for Portage Avenue and follow the signs to 300 Portage Ave. The Canada Life Centre will be on your right.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Peace River to Grande Prairie. Check the local bus schedules for the latest departure times and prices. Once in Grande Prairie, you can transfer to a bus heading to Edmonton. From Edmonton, catch a bus to Winnipeg. Once you arrive in Winnipeg, you can take the Winnipeg Transit system (Bus Route 20 or 21) which will take you directly to downtown. Get off at the stop nearest to Portage Avenue, and walk a short distance to 300 Portage Ave to reach the Canada Life Centre.

• Combination

  A combination of car and public transportation is also a great option. Drive to Grande Prairie and park your car at a long-term parking lot. From there, take a bus to Edmonton, and then transfer to a bus that takes you directly to Winnipeg. Once in Winnipeg, use public transit to reach the Canada Life Centre. This method may save you on parking costs in Winnipeg, and public transit is relatively affordable.
