Car
If you're driving, start from Castro, the main city on Chiloé Island. Head south on Route 5 towards Chonchi. After approximately 30 km (about 30 minutes), take the exit for Chonchi. Once in Chonchi, follow the signs to Huillinco. The park is located a short distance from the town center, approximately 6 km to the west along a paved road. Make sure to have your GPS set to Huillinco Park's coordinates: -42.673958, -73.8974514.

Public Transportation
To reach Huillinco Park via public transportation, take a bus from Castro to Chonchi. Buses leave regularly from Castro's terminal and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Chonchi, you can either take a local taxi or a short bus ride to Huillinco. If you choose a taxi, it should cost around 5,000 CLP (Chilean Pesos) for the 6 km trip to the park. Alternatively, you can walk if you enjoy scenic routes, but it may take around 1.5 hours.
