Getting There

• Car

  To reach La Parva by car from Santiago city center, start by getting on Route 5 Sur (Panamericana) heading north. Follow the signs for Ruta 57 towards Los Andes. Continue on Ruta 57 and take the exit toward Lo Barnechea. From there, follow the signs to La Parva. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Be prepared for a winding road as you ascend into the Andes, and ensure your vehicle is equipped for mountain driving, especially in winter months when snow can be present.

• Public Transportation

  To reach La Parva using public transportation, you'll need to take the Metro to the 'Los Dominicos' station (Line 1, the red line). From there, head to the bus terminal nearby and catch a bus going to 'Farellones.' Make sure to check the schedule as services may vary. Once you arrive in Farellones, you can either take a taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to La Parva. The total journey may take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on connections.

  If you prefer a more direct route without driving, consider using a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber) directly from Santiago to La Parva. Simply input 'La Parva Ski Resort' as your destination. This option is convenient but can be more expensive, typically costing between 40,000 to 70,000 CLP depending on the time of day and demand. The trip will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
