To reach Tres Puntas in Valle Nevado by car, start from central Santiago. Take Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins (also known as La Alameda) towards the east, and continue until you reach the roundabout at Plaza Baquedano. From there, take the exit onto Avenida Providencia, which will lead you to the Costanera Norte expressway. After about 5 km, take the exit towards Route 57 (Autopista Los Libertadores) heading towards the Andes mountains. Continue on Route 57 for approximately 38 km until you reach the junction for Farellones. Follow the signs for Farellones, and as you enter the town, watch for signs indicating Valle Nevado. After approximately 10 km on the winding roads, you will arrive at Tres Puntas. Note that there may be a toll on Route 57 (around CLP 3,000), and check road conditions during winter months as snow and ice can affect access.
