If you are in the center of San Pedro de Atacama, locate the main square (Plaza de San Pedro). From there, head south down Avenida 5 de Abril. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Avenida Tulor. Turn left onto Avenida Tulor and follow it for another 1 kilometer. The Observatorio Hemisferio Sur will be on your right. Look for a large entrance with signs indicating the observatory.
