If you are starting from the waterfront area in Barrio Puerto, head east along Avenida Errazuriz until you reach the intersection with Calle Urriola. Turn right onto Calle Urriola, and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will pass small shops and cafés. Continue until you reach Paseo 21 de Mayo, which will be on your left after you pass through a small plaza.

Funicular
From Plaza Sotomayor, you can take the Ascensor Artillería funicular, which is a popular way to reach the higher parts of Valparaíso. Purchase a ticket for about 300 CLP (Chilean Pesos) at the ticket booth. Once you reach the top, exit the funicular and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see Paseo 21 de Mayo to your left.
