Getting There

Walking
From the center of Cerro Alegre, head towards the main street, Paseo Gervasoni. Walk down the hill until you reach the intersection with Calle San Francisco. Turn left on Calle San Francisco and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will arrive at San Francisco 543, where Cerro Cordillera de Valparaíso is located. The walk is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15 minutes.

Funicular
If you prefer a unique experience, you can take the Ascensor Concepción. Start at the top of Cerro Alegre and locate the entrance to the funicular near Plaza Aníbal Pinto. Ride the funicular down to the base of the hill. Once you exit, walk towards Calle San Francisco and turn left. Continue until you reach San Francisco 543. The funicular ride costs about 300 CLP (Chilean Pesos) and operates daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
