  To reach the Rosario Islands from Cartagena, you will first need to make your way to the Cartagena docks. Start from the city center, which is usually where most tourists are located. Head towards the waterfront area near the Clock Tower (Torre del Reloj). From there, walk towards the docks located at Muelle de los Pegasos, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Once you arrive at Muelle de los Pegasos, you will find various boat operators offering trips to the Rosario Islands. Look for the booths that sell tickets for day trips; they typically include round-trip transportation and may offer additional services like lunch or snorkeling gear. Ensure to ask about the duration of the trip and the return schedule. The boat ride to the islands usually takes around 1-1.5 hours, so plan accordingly.

• Water Taxi

  If you prefer a more private option, you can take a water taxi from the docks. After reaching Muelle de los Pegasos, ask around for water taxis that can take you directly to the Rosario Islands. Water taxis are more expensive than the group tours but provide a faster and more personalized experience. Confirm the price before boarding and negotiate if necessary. Ensure that the water taxi is officially registered for safety. The taxi ride will also take approximately 1-1.5 hours.
