Getting There

    From El Laguito, start at the intersection of Avenida San Martin and Calle 1. Head east on Calle 1 (Calle 1 runs parallel to the beach) for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida Venezuela. Turn left onto Avenida Venezuela and continue walking for about 600 meters until you reach the Plaza de la Aduana. From here, you can see the historic walls in the distance. Continue walking towards the walls, passing through the Gate of the Clock Tower (Torre del Reloj), which will lead you directly into the historic center of Cartagena. The Walls of Cartagena are located just a few steps from the plaza, specifically at Cl. de la Serrezuela, San Diego.
