Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Walled City of Cartagena, head southeast on Calle 30 toward the Plaza de la Aduana. Continue straight for two blocks until you reach the intersection with Calle 32. Turn left onto Calle 32 and walk one block to the intersection with Carrera 6. You will see the entrance to Plaza de Las Bovedas on your right. The plaza is located in the San Diego neighborhood, and you will recognize it by its iconic arches and vibrant artisan stalls.

    If you are near the Clock Tower (Torre del Reloj), walk east along Avenida de la República. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle 30. Turn left on Calle 30 and walk for about 5 minutes. Then turn right onto Calle 32 and continue until you reach Carrera 6, where you will find Plaza de Las Bovedas on your right. Look for the large stone walls and the colorful market stalls that surround the plaza.

Turn left on Calle 32, and you will find Plaza de Las Bovedas on your right side, marked by its historic arches and local vendors.
