If you have access to a car, start from the main entrance of Cocora Valley. Head south on the main road towards Salento. After approximately 10 km, turn right onto the road leading to Pereira. Continue for about 7 km until you see signs for Alto del Nudo. Follow these signs, and you will reach a parking area at the base of the observation deck. Parking may have a small fee, typically around 5,000 COP.

Public Transportation
To reach Alto del Nudo via public transportation, first make your way to the main bus terminal in Salento. From there, take a bus heading to Pereira. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving in Pereira, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus to reach the Alto del Nudo observation area. Ensure to inform the taxi driver of your destination; the fare should be around 15,000 to 20,000 COP. Note that public transportation schedules may vary, so it is advisable to check the latest times.

Hiking
If you are already in Cocora Valley and prefer to hike, you can start from the Cocora Valley trailhead. Follow the marked trails up towards Alto del Nudo. This hike is approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to bring plenty of water and wear appropriate hiking shoes. There are no entry fees for the hiking trails, but donations to local conservation efforts are appreciated.
