Car
From the main entrance of Cocora Valley, head north on the main road (which is Calle 3) for about 3 kilometers. Watch for the signs directing you to 'Lake Otún.' After about 3 kilometers, you will reach the junction where the road forks. Take the left fork, which is marked for 'Risaralda.' Continue straight on this road for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Lake Otún. There is a parking area available.
Public Transportation
From the Cocora Valley main square, catch a jeep (Willys) that is headed towards Salento. Inform the driver that you want to visit Lake Otún. The ride will take around 30 minutes, and you will need to get off at the designated stop for Lake Otún. Follow the signs from the drop-off point to the lake, which is about a 15-minute walk. Make sure to ask the locals for directions if you are unsure!
